These terms apply to your use of thepdfguideshq.com and to anything you buy from us. By using this store or buying a product, you agree to them.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The PDF Guides HQ. "You" means the person using the site or buying a product.

1. What we sell

We sell downloadable PDF guides. Every product is digital. Nothing is posted to you and there is no physical item.

2. What you can do with a guide

When you buy a guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. That means:

You may:

  • Read it on any device you own
  • Print it for your own use
  • Print the worksheet pages as many times as you like, for your own household

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent or lend it
  • Share, upload, email or distribute the file to anyone else
  • Post it on a website, a file-sharing service, a course platform or a social account
  • Reproduce any part of it in your own paid or free product
  • Remove or alter any notice inside the file

We retain all copyright and intellectual property in the guides. Buying one does not transfer ownership of anything to you.

If we find our guides being distributed without permission, we may cancel the license of the account responsible and take further action.

3. Health, wellbeing and general information

Our guides are educational material only. They are not medical, psychological, financial or professional advice.

They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. They are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional, and they are not a treatment plan.

Specifically:

  • Nothing in any guide is a reason to change, stop, delay or adjust any medication. Medication decisions belong to your prescriber.
  • If you have a diagnosed condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take regular medication, or have a history of disordered eating, speak to your doctor before acting on anything in our guides.
  • Our relationship and wellbeing content is not therapy and is not a substitute for a qualified counselor or couples therapist.
  • Where research is limited or contested, our guides say so. We would rather tell you the evidence is thin than sell past it.

If something in your health or your relationship concerns you, please see a qualified professional. A guide cannot see your situation. A trained person can.

4. No guarantee of results

We do not promise any particular outcome. Our guides describe habits and systems supported by published research, and we cite that research so you can check it yourself. What happens when you apply them depends on you, your circumstances and a great deal we cannot see or control.

5. Accuracy

We take real care with accuracy and every claim in our guides is sourced. Research changes, and information that was current when we published may be superseded. We do not warrant that every statement will remain accurate indefinitely.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown on each product page and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order already placed.

7. Your account and your details

You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you give us at checkout. A mistyped email is the most common reason a download does not arrive. If your files do not turn up, email us and we will resend them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with the site or its security, or to scrape, copy or republish its content.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent the law allows, and other than those rights: our liability for any claim connected with a product is limited to resupplying the product or refunding what you paid for it, whichever we choose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
